THE BEEHIVE' |
|
---|---|
THE BEEHIVE is situated in a picturesque and secluded location on the River Bure a short distance from the town of Wroxham. (Capital of the Norfolk Broads). Built in 1912 this beautiful old thatched house is surrounded on three sides by water and as such is almost a small island. The property is perfectly located for touring Norfolk and the Broads. Although only 3 minutes walk from the centre of Wroxham, it is well out of sight and sound of the Town. | |
Wroxham offers a choice of many excellent places to eat out within walking distance of THE BEEHIVE. Also good restaurants and cosy pubs are just a short drive away. We are only seven miles from Norwich, and there are regular bus and train services to the city. | |
At THE BEEHIVE we offer you a warm welcome, a comfortable room, and a hearty breakfast. Our rooms, which are all individually designed with care to provide an elegant and romantic ambience, all overlook the river, and you are almost guaranteed to wake to the inspiring sounds of marine life. Each bedroom has coloured television, radio, tea and coffee making facilities, hail dryer, wash basin, fresh towels etc. | |
There is ample secure parking space for your car at THE BEEHIVE, and fishing from our quay is permitted for residents only. | |
Our menu caters for all tastes, and the breakfast room commands an outstanding view of the river Bure, where you can be entertained by the waterfowl and passing boats whilst enjoying a hearty breakfast. We can arrange a picnic hamper service by prior arrangement, for those who want to spend a lazy day on the river. Facilities such as Day Boats, Sailing, Golf, visits to National Trust properties, Bird watching, Pleasure flights over the local area etc., are all available within a radius of ten miles from Wroxham. | |
For the comfort of our guests, we are a non-smoking establishment (We do of course permit smoking in the grounds). Sorry, we do not cater for children under the age of 15 years. | |
